Disneyland and a Wedding

My Brother got Married in the LA temple and instead of just going down for the weekend we made a week out of it and went to Disneyland first. The kids had a lot of fun. We stayed a the Camelot just three hotels down from the entrance to were the trains come from the parking lot. Kit was so excited to see the princess (which I cant find the pictures to will have to ask Jared). One afternoon while the boys went back for a nap Kit meet Tink and Silvermist. she was always excited to go she had a hard time wainting which in turn made it so the boys didn't wait very nicely either. Then we went and stayed at the Paranage houseing at the Temple. and was able to see the hole family. We also got a new familt picture, still waiting to see how that turned out. This kids had a lot of fun with thire unlces and aunts and Oma and Opa. When Oma and Opa left Kit cried which made it even hard to see them go, she was only comforted when we told her we would see them again soon. It is just a few of the pictures we took. Hope you enjoy.

Early Birthday Present

Kitrina will be turning 6 this month and when we went to LA for Brandon's wedding and Disneyland Oma gave her her birthday present and she had to wear it on Sunday. She looked really cute. When we went to Disneyland there was a place that would do the little girls hair like Cinderella and she really wanted it done. i told her is costs to much and that I could do the same thing. so I did and she received a lot of compliments. The pearl necklace she is wear was given to me by my mom and thought it looked perfect. Here is our little princess.

So Kit started Kindergarten on Wednesday, and loved it. He went to school like a champ. So far she hasn't complained about getting up in the morning. We qualify for free lunch so she has had free lunch twice this week, but wanted to try Home lunch one day. Says she like school lunch better. She has has fun everyday this week, hope it stays that way.

Curtain Ties

So Last week or so I bought new curtains to go in the front room. They are to help keep out the heat and the cold. The old ones were a lite green color, the news ones are burgundy. I made curtain ties for them so I could tie them together to let in the sun light when it is not to warm or cold out. I am very pleased in how they turned out. So here is my creative brain came up with. This is a far away view of our front window.

A Close up of the best looking one.

All Three of them together. The bow is attached to a piece of ribbon that has buttons on the back that snap together so you don't have to tie them. So what do you think?

Inpromtu Party

Kit has been talking about having a Princess Party. so One night I tiold her she could as long as she made the invites so she did. I wrote on them and she drew a picture they were so cute. She then delivered them to her friends. I think she invited like 8 gilrs but only four were able to come and they had a great time. They drew pictures and then amde tira's and in Ethan;s case a crown. Here are the pictures.
We had the Party while Collin slept, when he woke up he also had to have a crown so here he is.
This is Becky, she lives across the street with Kendra.
Ethan and his Crown. I made it square so it wouldn't look like a Tiara.
This Is Kendra she lives across the Street.
This is either Samantha or mara I get her and her sister(below) mixed up and Kit has to correct me all the time.

Bestest Buds

Here is the story behind this picture and how Priceless it is. If you can't see it mickey's head is right under collin you can bearly see one of his ears. Collin received a baby Mickey Mouse From his Aunt Katee for his First Christmas. It wasn't until we moved in here and he was noticing that Kit carries around her Pooh Bear and Ethan carries around his TED (a teddy bear from IKEA) that he had to have something to carry around with him. So I pulled out mickey. He now carries it around with him everywhere and if we say he has to leave it at home he gets really sad but gives it a big hug and puts it on the couch and then gives it a big hug when we get home. The second miracle it that Collin was born on September 7th and Jared left for Korea October 1st just three weeks later. So one year later Jared comes home and they are instant buds. the night after Jared got home we had a going away party with the ward members, I visited with the party guests and Collin and jared hung out all night with each other and ever since they have been the bests of buds. He even gets sad when Jared has to leave for work and is the first one to welcome him home.

Accessive Heat

So I am sure you all know that the Northwest region has had accessive heat this past week so we have been living in 90 weather in the house with no AC downstairs, which will arrive on tuesday I hope.So we have been taking the morning to do Different things. Monday of Cource was Jared's Eye Surgery, then we went grocery shopping. Tuesday was Speech and then on to target. Wednesday morning we went to IKEA looking for dressers for Jared and I, since the 40 dollar ones we bought 8 years ago are falling apart. And we stayed home on thursday. Everyafternoon we fill the pool up with water and play outside to keep out of the hot house. Here are a few pictures I took of the kids playing. Sorry for the fuzzynes couldn't get my photo editing program to work.

No Longer a baby

As You know I have a little boy, he is 22 months old and is no longer sleeping in the crib or with a pacifier. Just this last week Collin tired to sleep in Ethan's bed so Jared set up the toddler bed and he has been sleeping in in ever since. The first night he still got his pacifier but then the next night we didn't give it to him and he went right to sleep. he still enjoys getting out of bed by himself. He also gets out of bed really early like around 6 am so then he lays with me until it's really time to get up around 7 am. But other than that he loves his new found freedom and big boy bed. I tried to find picture of the toddler bed but couldn't find it. it is the same one Ethan used when we were living at my parents house.
